Purchased; studded pair of bootstraps.  Sure, they add about 5 pounds to my boots, but hey - now it's kind of like walking around with weights?  I might strap them onto my high heels tomorrow night... ♥

Love note of the week

ACIDTRIP

The countdown continues for the coveted items for fall.  Acid wash jeans.  Were you around for it the first time?  I was.  When i was 12 my mother bought me a brand new pair of levi's which i promptly took down to the laundry room and decided to bleach the crap out of.  The result was.... interesting? I should have done a few practice runs, but hey - i WAS 12.  Anyhoo, my punishment was to wear them around.  This time around, i think i'll go for something more tonal, the busier the acid wash, the erm 'bigger' you look is my take on the trend.  I have a pair of baby pink ones which i really like because they are diffrent.  As long as you keep it in the skinny leg body with an ankle length you're golden.

COCOBEFORECHANEL

Although not completely accurate in terms of what her life was really like, the movie was nonetheless really interesting.  Mostly because the clothes were great, because of Audrey Tatou playing the lead (heart) and lastly because a story about a woman who defies everything and becomes independent, especially then, is inspiring.  Oh yeah, and a little love plot never hurt anyone either... ahem, sniff.  All was good until the last scene, i won't give it away, but let's just say that the choice of model's was puzzling.

After a red eye flight where i got barely any sleep, i settled into Notting Hill only to go out for a boozy lunch, which continued into a boozy afternoon and a concert...  Home by midnight and up TWELVE hours later... i mean - i AM on vacay.  Off to see Coco before she was Chanel this evening.

I'm off to Kate's homeland for one glorious week!  Let's hope it doesn't rain all week and if i bump into her, i'll let you know.
