CANADIANBEAUTY

I was at an event last night where they flew in a couple of Canadian model's to 'glamourify' - ahem. One of them being a favorite of mine - not because she's Canadian but because she plainly just kicks ass. Daria Werbowy. It's not my first time seeing models up close. But for the sake of us normal people, i really must point out how abnormal these creatures are. The proportions are astounding, legs that go to heaven and what struck me the most is how wide set the eyes are. Incredible... I felt a little bad for Daria, she was being followed by a posse of 'insert important name tag here' boring people. My friend Erdem and I however, were in the corner drinking Veuve... and that was good times. Note to self - remember to eat next time. Qu'elle headache!

PERELACHAISSE

Ok so i have a penchant for morbid things...Yeah you might find it weird that i like to visit cemeteries but guess what, you won't find a more soothing place in the city. They are quiet, beautiful, romantic, inspiring and make you realize how short life is and how you can't take one moment for granted. If you go to Paris, you can't leave without a visit to Cimetiere Pere Lachaisse. I can't wait to go back. Une bise x.

FRENCHWOMEN

Don't get me started on French women... well too late now.. What i love best about them is that they're tough. They don't let anyone trample all over them and they are in control not only of their pantyhose (and everything else in the boudoir) but their emotions. Screw the drama - why not smoke a fag instead? Case in point; Mademoiselle is just shopping around with her bff's, looking insouciante hair up in a bun, navy palazzo pants, black tailored blazer (i still get so irked when people try to tell me that navy and black don't work together - guess what darling - if you know how to put it together, anything works), nonchalant scarf and massive doctor bag - to top it off why not add a pair of pearl earrings? Modern Belle du Jour? J'ADORE!

SIGHTINGS

First. You should know that i did not take these pictures. I could never do that. I only take pictures of strangers (but that comes later). Here are a few of the people i saw whilst in Paris. Some were awesome. Some were crazy. Some were just plain ridiculous. Since i am a nice person, ahem, i will not point the finger.

BACKINCANADA

Bonjour mes belles. After a week in Paris i am back in Toronto. If there is any indication of how the trip was, let it be this; on my flight yesterday when i opened the window to see Toronto, i burst into tears! Ahhh i'll be ok soon, just a bit bummed. Lot's to tell you and show you but in the meantime here's what my little pause cafe looked like at Bon Marche - how can you be in a bad mood ever if you have heart shaped sugar? A kiss x.
