Japanese artist Kimiko Yoshida takes inspiration from brides around the world, transforms herself and captures the result in this ongoing 9 year project. It's very cool.
The fact that you love this artist makes me realize why I like your taste so much. I saw her work a couple of years ago and tried to figure out whether I could buy a piece. Unfortunately, her work is uber expensive . . . sold by a Belgian gallery, if I am not mistaken.
