GEORGIARUSSELL
Georgia Russell. Artist. Born 1974 in Scotland. Resides in Paris. Preferred method to render art - the scalpel. There is something so haunting yet breathtaking with what she is able to do with books, newspapers, clippings... My favorite pieces are the ones held under glass domes, as if the cut out spines and leaves have taken on an animalistic rebirth, wild in their nature but kept pristine so that the owner may salvage it for ever... Deliciously dark... wouldn't you agree? Une bise x.

Seriously amazing. Paper cutting, using a scalpel - I just can't fathom how it works. I do not have the patience or perfection gene in me.
